
Bio
As an all-rounded artist, Queenie has been establishing her career as a pianist, flutist, early childhood educator, graphic designer and exhibitor.
As a musician, Queenie has received training from Timothy Wilson, former principal flute of Hong Kong Philharmonic and Brian Chan, flutist and piccolist of Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Queenie is a flutist in Richmond Hill Concert Band and actively performs in the Greater Toronto Area. Queenie was a resident flutist and pianist at lobby of different hotels, including Island-Shangrila and Hong Kong Club. She also participates in private functions for different occasions including wedding and ceremony. She was also a member of Hong Kong Wind Symphony and has been performing around the world including Austria and Japan. Queenie has been actively participating in different masterclass such as Sir James Galway, Susan Milan and Birgit Ramsl-Gaal.
Apart from performing career, Queenie is highly devoted to music education. She is now the music director of East Vaughan School. She writes the curriculum for the school and organizes after-school music activities for students. She organizes students recital for music learners in Steinway Piano Gallery Toronto. Queenie believes that the more students perform on stage, the more enjoyable experience students get. All the learning materials are tailor-made to suit students’ different characters and personalities.
Queenie is a qualified early childhood educator. She received her Early Childhood Education Postgraduate Diploma after giving born to her beloved child and she loves to work with children in kindergarten and child care centre. Queenie designs music lessons to toddlers and parents with high acclaims.
As a graphic designer and exhibitor, Queenie was the co-writer of the animation, which was performed in <Nutcracker x Dustykid> concert. Queenie also designs concert posters, logos of corporations. Many received high acclaims.
