Policy

1. Registration and Enrollment:

   - All students must complete the registration process before commencing lessons at Master Music.

   - Registration fees may apply and are non-refundable.

   - Enrollment in classes is subject to the teacher's availability and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

2. Lesson Scheduling:

   - Lessons are scheduled based on availability and instructor/student preferences.

   - Changes to lesson schedules require at least 48 hours' notice.

   - Missed lessons without prior notification will not be rescheduled or refunded.

 

3. Payment and Fees:

   - Payment for lessons is due in advance according to the agreed-upon schedule.

   - An invoice will be sent to parents after the last lesson in the month.

   - Payment has to be made within a week after receiving the invoice.

   - Late payments may incur additional fees of $10, which will be charged in the next invoice.

   - We accept various payment methods, including cash, or electronic transfer.

 

4. Cancellation and Lesson Credits:

   - Students may cancel lessons with at least 24 hours' notice for a full make-up credit or rescheduling.

   - A full make-up credit for canceled lessons will only be provided with sufficient notice.

   - No make-up credit will be issued for missed lessons without prior notification.

   - Lesson will be charged a full tuition fee and there will be no make-up lesson or credit when students forget to come to class, come late, or let the administration know less than 24 hours before the lesson.

   - In case the teacher is unable to conduct a scheduled lesson due to illness, we will make every effort to accommodate students by rescheduling the class, providing a substitute teacher, or offering a make-up credit,        subject to availability and instructor resources.

5. Make-Up Lessons:

   - Make-up lessons may be offered for lessons canceled with sufficient notice, subject to instructor availability.

   - Make-up lessons must be scheduled within the current term and cannot be carried over to subsequent terms.

 

6. Instructor Assignments:

   - Instructor assignments are made based on availability, student level, and instructor expertise.

   - Requests for specific instructors will be accommodated whenever possible, but cannot be guaranteed.

 

7. Curriculum and Progress:

   - Master Music offers personalized instruction tailored to each student's goals and abilities.

   - Progress evaluations may be conducted periodically to assess student development and provide feedback.

8. Performance Participation:

   - Master Music offers opportunities for students to showcase their talents through school events or performances.

   - Participation in these events may require a nominal participation fee, which helps cover expenses such as venue rental, equipment, and event management.

   - Details regarding participation fees will be communicated well in advance of the event.

   - Participation in school events or performances is optional but encouraged as it provides valuable performance experience and fosters a sense of community among students.

   - Students interested in participating in school events or performances are encouraged to discuss their involvement with their instructor or school administration.

 

9. Studio Facilities:

   - Master Music provides a safe and conducive learning environment for students.

   - Students are expected to treat studio facilities, instruments, and equipment with care and respect.

 

10. Communication:

   - Regular communication between students, parents (if applicable), and instructors is encouraged for optimal learning outcomes.

   - Please feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns, or feedback.

 

11. Privacy Policy:

   - Master Music respects the privacy of our students and their families. We adhere to all relevant privacy laws and regulations.

 

12. Liability Waiver:

   - Master Music is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur on our premises or during lessons.

 

13. Amendment of Policies:

   - Master Music reserves the right to amend these policies as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to students and posted on our website.

14. Student Media Release Consent Agreement:

   - Master Music occasionally photographs, records, or videotapes students during lessons, rehearsals, or performances for promotional or educational purposes.

   - By enrolling in lessons at Master Music, students and their legal guardians consent to the use of their image,            voice, or likeness in such promotional materials, including but not limited to the school's website, social media channels, brochures, and advertisements.

   - Master Music will seek explicit permission from students or their legal guardians before using their image, voice,      or likeness in any material where they are individually identifiable.

   - Students or legal guardians have the right to withhold consent for the use of their image, voice, or likeness by notifying the school administration in writing.

   - Master Music will respect the privacy preferences of students and their legal guardians regarding the use of their personal information for promotional purposes.
