Yu-Sze Melody Ng graduated from Berklee College of Music (Valencia Campus) with, a Master in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games. She studied film scoring under Lucio Godoy's guidance, a renowned film composer in Spain. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Honours) at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2019, taking composition as her concentration. She studied composition under the guidance of Matthew Schreibeis, Christopher Coleman, Christopher Keyes, and David Francis Urrows.

Ng started learning music from an early age, she studied piano with Lau Lively Stones, Grace, a professional pianist in Hong Kong. She obtained a distinction LTCL diploma in Trinity piano performance in 2018, equivalent to ARCT in RCM piano performance. She is also experienced in music teaching with 10 years of teaching experience.

 

In 2024, she worked with JV Film Co. on a film "Astronaut", which will be published in April. In 2022, she collaborated with Vancouver Film School, and scored a short film "En Dehors De Toi", together they won Best LGBTQ+ Short Film in Lady Filmmakers Festival 2022. She also worked as an audio editor and sound designer in a Hong Kong TV Drama broadcasted by Viu TV "Into the Wild".  In 2021, winning an award, "Honourable Mention: Score" in the Festigious Los Angeles Film Festival June 2021 is a milestone of her career. In 2018, her music was broadcast by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK).
